With SuiteConnect over for another year, we’ve collected our thoughts and insights to give you a quick overview of the action-filled day.

It really was a gathering of the greatest minds in NetSuite and cloud business systems across Australia New Zealand with over 1000 attendees, the event was a goldmine of valuable information, interesting perspectives and solid advice. Here’s our rundown.

The expo

NetSuite partners, third party providers, and even a selfie robot filled the expo area. Over at the Annexa booth, we were showcasing a selection of our latest innovations. Our newest products, Apps by Annexa, were a big hit, with our in-house developed Guided Selling app attracting the crowds. We also introduced ExpenseBot, Annexa Timeclock, NetSuite Visual Dashboards (Monocle), Mobile Stocktake and Auto Invoice & Email. This is all part of our ongoing in-house app development and will be releasing many more in the coming months. To find out more, get in contact.

Breakout sessions

Throughout the day, attendees could select from 18 breakout sessions over six streams. As Platinum sponsors, we hosted ‘ERP Selection Best Practices: Vision to Value’, a detailed discussion to help participants better understand the value of expanding or launching NetSuite in their organisation. Annexa customer, Jennifer Marshall, CFO at Botany Group, shared the panel with John Kimbell, Managing Director at NAS Australia. Both generously shared their insights in identifying and quantifying value drivers for their organisation during the technology investment evaluation process. A huge shout out to Jennifer for taking the time out of her busy schedule to take part in this session, it was truly great to hear her unique and informed perspective.

The keynote

Grow, grow, grow

For the keynote Lee Thompson, GVP and GM, JAPAC Oracle NetSuite and Jason Maynard, SVP, Global Field Operations Oracle NetSuite took to the stage to share their wisdom on business growth. The engaging presentations highlighted impressive figures. For example, businesses using NetSuite are growing 6 x faster than ASX200 companies.

Social Impact

A program close to our hearts, NetSuite shone a spotlight on thier Social Impact program. For the year to date NetSuite have donated $100m of software to Not for Profits and count 1300+ NFP’s using NetSuite to accelerate their mission.

Key takeaway quote

“The main thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing”. In other words, it’s all about ensuring your systems are working like clockwork, so you can focus on what you do best – your main thing.

Networking drinks sponsored by Annexa

Of course, it’s not all entirely business at SuiteConnect or Annexa, for that matter. This year we sponsored the Networking drinks. The drinks were flowing as we all took a moment to take in the day, share our thoughts and mingle with the invigorated crowd.

The partner awards

The NetSuite’s Partner channel executive awards dinner is held the night before SuiteConnect. This is when NetSuite awards partners for outstanding service. This year, we were thrilled to take home NetSuite ANZ’s Customer Experience Partner of the year award for customer retention and overall customer satisfaction. We are deeply committed to our customers and feel this gong really encapsulates who we are and what we stand for. Well done to the entire Annexa team.

The wrap

Having immersed ourselves in SuiteConnect for another year, we are all feeling enthused about what lies ahead. It’s a big year, and we’re ready to continue to push the boundaries, drive incredible new growth for our customers and welcome new customers to our team. Let’s grow together!
