Business systems used to be one core application that did what it said on the box – and not much else unless you were prepared to spend a fortune on customisations and endure complex, drawn-out upgrade cycles. That might have worked when operations were simpler and change was slower. But times are a little bit different. Businesses need systems that can move fast, flex with growth, and connect across teams and the rest of the tech stack.

Integration used to be the quiet part of ERP projects. Often necessary, but a small slice of a project. Today, it’s front and centre – because the way your systems connect often defines how your business performs. The last few years have seen a shift from basic data syncs to smarter, more orchestrated processes.

This reflects something we’ve seen again and again – businesses come to us looking for configuration. But they’re also looking for guidance – on scale, complexity, integration and what comes next.

Why enterprise architecture matters now

With our latest website update, we’ve officially added enterprise architecture to our list of services. It reflects the strategic work we’ve been doing for some time – working with customers to plan, evaluate, design and realise their transformation goals through high-performing, future-ready ERP architecture.

But what does that actually mean?

It means thinking beyond implementation. It means looking at how your systems will support growth, scale across multiple entities, adapt to new tools and still deliver performance when you’re several years down the track – not just five weeks past go-live.

We help customers assess where they are, where they’re headed and how to architect the ERP environment to support that journey – from data flows and platform configuration to integration and system governance.

We work with customers earlier in their journey – asking the bigger questions about what their systems need to support not just today, but year three, five – even ten (just ask REA or Aesop). It’s about designing for scale, not just success on day one.

Supported by technology and strategic partnerships

To deliver these seamless and integrated business solutions, Annexa has cultivated several strategic and technology partnerships that enhance our service offerings.

Our partnership with Celigo for IPaaS services

A prime example is our collaboration with Celigo, a leading iPaaS provider. Through this partnership, our team is able to architect and deliver complex and robust integration solutions that connect our customer’s best-in-class systems with NetSuite. Our expertise in this area has seen us recognised with the Celigo Partner of the Year award for Australia and New Zealand in 2024 and more recently, the 2025 Partner of the Year for Asia-Pacific.

How Telegram Co. Leverages Celigo iPaaS

Take Telegram Co., for example – a complex omnichannel retailer with four Shopify sites, nine stores, Shopify POS, RF-SMART and EDI connections. They initially built and managed their own integrations using Celigo. But they needed deeper expertise to get the architecture right. That’s when they brought us in – to get under the hood, resolve the sticking points and align the integration approach with the realities of a high-growth omnichannel business.

The depth and breadth of our partnerships

Celigo is just one of many strategic and technology partners we’ve been working with.

We partner with RF-SMART to extend NetSuite’s reach into the warehouse. FloQast streamlines the month-end close. And Pivot2 brings deep financial planning and reporting capability to the table. Netstock makes supply chain recommendations smarter and faster.

We also work with partners like Enable, whose rebate management platform helps manufacturers and distributors turn commercial agreements into a growth lever. ELMO brings HR and payroll into the ERP picture. And with Shopify, we help customers build ecommerce operations that connect cleanly to NetSuite’s back end. More recently, we’ve brought Avalara into the partnership fold to help our customers automate compliance with international indirect taxes.

Some of these partnerships started with customer demand – where teams were already using a solution and needed it to work better with NetSuite. Others came from us identifying a gap and going out to find the right product to fill it. In both cases, we only move forward if the fit is clear with NetSuite, with our delivery methodology and most importantly, with the needs of our customers.

Architecture that makes integration meaningful

This is why we’ve doubled down on our enterprise architecture capability. Because choosing the right product is only part of the picture. The real value is in how it all comes together – how the data flows, how the processes align and how the systems scale.

We don’t believe in bloated stacks or integration for integration’s sake. We build connected ecosystems because the future of cloud ERP isn’t one system, it’s a connected strategy. And that’s exactly what we help our customers design.
