Account Based Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for an Account Based Marketing Specialist to help shape and scale our account-based approach. This is not a BDM or SDR role. It’s a marketing role that partners closely with sales to drive meaningful engagement, pipeline and long-term customer relationships.

The role

As an Account Based Marketing Specialist, you’ll help Annexa identify, engage and progress high-potential accounts through thoughtful, coordinated marketing programs.

You’ll combine research, creativity and execution to design account-based campaigns across multiple channels, working closely with sales to ensure the right accounts receive the right message at the right time. You’ll have space to experiment early, learn quickly and help systematise what works.

This is a mid-level role with room to grow, ideal for someone keen to build deep capability in account-based marketing who enjoys both thinking and doing.

What you’ll do

  • Market segmentation and account research – identify and prioritise high-potential accounts using ICPs, market insight and buying signals
  • Account-based campaigns and outreach – design and execute multi-touch programs across email, LinkedIn, paid media and direct mail
  • Top-of-funnel engagement – nurture inbound and outbound account interest in close partnership with sales and marketing
  • Events and experiences – own the planning and delivery of targeted roundtables, webinars and account-focused events
  • Creative experimentation – design prospect gifting campaigns, event concepts and ideate new campaigns
  • GTM support – research industries, organisations and personas to create targeted messaging and customised collateral, supported by the marketing team
  • Sales alignment – provide a strong feedback loop between marketing and sales to improve hand-offs, messaging and conversion

What you’ll bring

We don’t expect you to tick every box. We’re looking for someone genuinely interested in account-based marketing, commercially curious and keen to develop their craft.

  • Strong research skills and ability to build targeted account lists
  • Experience with, or strong interest in, account-based or targeted B2B marketing
  • Exposure to lead nurturing and early-stage account engagement
  • Clear, confident communication across email, LinkedIn and direct outreach
  • A collaborative approach and comfort working closely with sales
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within software, SaaS or professional services
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
